The Executive-chairman of China International Cultural Communication
Center visited South Korea at the invitation of the South Korea government in June 25 to June 28. He had a meeting with the representative of Grand National Party of Korea, Ms. Park Geun-hye(the daughter of the former president of South Korea, Park Chung-hee), the congressman and president Lee Myung-bak’s special secretary Kim De-long. This trip of Chairman Long took the warmest regards from Chinese people to South Korea. Representatives of both China and South Korea talked about the issues of culture, economy and education conscientiously. Moreover; both sides showed their confidence on the further cooperation, and they will make great efforts on strengthen the friendship between the two countries.
China and South Korea are friends since ancient times. Since the diplomatic relations established in August, 1992, the two countries cooperated with each other in various fields. Because the complementarities between China and South Korea, the economic relations growths well all these years. Chairman Long said, “As the window of cultural communication in China, China International Cultural Communication Center will work hard to improve the cooperation between the two countries, and make contribution to the peace of the world.” Meanwhile, Chairman Long met with his old friend Kim Duk –Mo, the deputy director of KIA, congressmen Kim Yi-dong and Hong Sa-duk separately. He discussed about the cooperation in the field of high technology with Hong Sa-duk intensively, especially the cooperation in the field of nickel industry.
